How I relax on my days off

Hi everyone,
and welcome back to my blog. I posted my last blog post a month ago and it feels like ages ago. I was pretty busy with work and felt very sick for the last couple of weeks. Not gonna lie- I lost my motivation as well. I didn't like my hair, skin, nails and everything about me you can even think of. But nothing is wrong with that, everyone has those bad days when you just want to stay in bed and don't ever go outside or meet other people. I don't know what caused me to feel like this but I am happy, motivated and full of energy again. So to make a long story short- you have to take care of yourself and always treat yourself. That's what helps you to be back on track and get that confidence.
In today's post I would like to share my few ways of relaxing/ treating yourself at home on my days off work. It's the time when you have to remember that work is not the most important thing in life. You have to take care of yourself.

Reading, movies, social media
I love coziness. So when I have a free day I just love to get cozy with the blanket. At the moment I don't have any books to read so I just snuggle with Lithuanian magazine IKONA. My dad sent that to me all the way from Lithuania, how sweet of him! I also love just staying on my phone. Instagram is the platform where I spend the most of my time. I follow so many inspiring people who keeps me motivated all the time. To get even more motivation I also spend ages on Pinterest.
P.S. I already got new Iphone 8 plus. Can you see how freaking good quality is of these pictures!? My old camera is going to sit somewhere far far away as I'm probably not going to use it anymore any time soon.
Having a candlelight
Some of you who follows me for quite a long time must already know how much I love candles. I burn them all the time during autumn and winter. In Australia it's just the start of the spring so maybe not the best time but who cares? Haha. I like to burn candles to make a cozy atmosphere. It always makes me dream more.
My new candle is from House of Lux and it just smells heavenly. They are Australian based and have an extremely big amount of different candles and home decor. Girls are also so lovely and helpful that I cannot even be more thankful for their hospitality.

Food food food
Food is one of the most important things in life. Haha. When I am home off from work I love treating myself with home made food. Everyone says that you're what you eat. I'm trying to follow that and eat as healthy as possible. Also avoiding eating at night time. However, I'm saying that just after I came back from the cinema and ate a large Big Mac meal. Haha. Everyone needs a cheat day. And I have loads of these days. But that's probably how it suppose to be, right? It's called balance.
I wear make up nearly everyday at work so when I'm off I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible. Hot shower is must as well. To cleanse and moisturize my skin I'm using products from Australian skincare brand called Sukin. Don't want to talk about that too much in this post because I'll do another one focusing only on my skincare routine. The main point- it's really important to take an extra care for your skin when you have time. That's what I'm trying to do. I also like to apply sheet-masks to make my skin look fresher.
Last but the most important thing- hair care. I had a hair disaster for the last year and it made me depress so much. All of those days when I wasn't feeling motivated enough were probably because of my hair. Good looking hair makes you look like completely different person. You have to believe me as I'm still experiencing that now. (Another blog post about my hair will be coming soon as well) To get back my long and healthy hair I am using loads of different products. At the moment- OGX shampoo and conditioner in cherry blossom and Black seed dry oil by Kardashian beauty. I always make sure that I proper treat myself and my hair on the days off.

Have a hot shower with an extra skincare & haircare, cook a nice meal, make yourself cozy and put a good tv show on/ read a book/ magazine. Those are my things I love doing on my days off. Spending a lazy day at home it's just the best.
