Thank you, 2016!

One more year has passed and I still can’t believe it’s over. I feel like my life is just passing through and I can’t manage to go together as fast. But I try. And it’s definitely better than nothing. 2016 was a good year. Probably one of the best in my life so far. It changed a lot, but only in a good way. I obviously had some down moments as well and it’s nothing wrong about it. That’s life and you have to deal with it.

I moved house. I changed my job twice. I re-opened my blog. I visited Lithuania 3 times. I had my family visiting me once. I went to Paris. I had family holiday with my sister in Tenerife. I became much happier person. I became more brave and self-confident than ever. I spent more time with my friends. I was myself. That’s the list of things that changed in my life throughout the past year. And I am so proud.

For the coming year I am going to make list of my goals for 2017. Even though my life has changed in 2016, I still have so many dreams and more changes waiting for me. I also hope to visit at least 3 countries next year and focus on my blog even more. I will share with you how it all goes. Everything can happen. Never stop believing.

Morning skincare routine

I hope you had and amazing Christmas! I did, but to be honest my Christmas mood and spirit are gone after yesterday. I am making a list of goals for 2017 and can't wait this new year to start.
In today's post I would like to share with you my morning skincare routine which is very simple but changed skincare game forever.
Every morning I always start with a glass of water and a tablet of Nutrient Wise chewable multivitamins. I feel like water just makes your skin glow and Nutrient Wise tablet gives you all the vitamins you need to get for the day. The next step- to cleanse my face. For that I always use my all time favouite cleansing balm by Emma Hardie. Here you can read my review of this product.
I wash off Emma Hardie cleansing balm with warm water and apply La Roche- Posay purifying foaming gel for oily sensitive skin. I love that this gel is soap free so it's not drying out my skin.
After my face is clean and dry, I take a cotton pad and apply some micellar water. It really depends on my mood as sometimes I like to use rose water as well. At the moment I use Botanics micellar water by Boots and Premium Rose water by Dabur. It really doesn't make any difference which brands I use. All products do the same job.
And the last but not least- Nip+Fab hydrate dragon's blood fix plumping serum. One of the best things I've ever tried on my skin. It gives an instant glow without drying out or making it too oily.
So there are all the products I use for my skincare routine on daily basis. I also like to treat my skin on Sundays with a lot of face masks and oils... but it will come with another blog post very soon.

My Christmas party make-up 2016

Another year has passed and only 3 days left until Christmas. Time to get ready for Christmas parties and NYE! And I decided to show you my party make-up again. If you want to see what I did last year, you can check it here. This year I chose more sparkly look...
I'm not going to show you what exactly products I was using just because I want to make it easier for you. You can recreate this look using any other similar products you have in your make-up bag.
(I AM NOT a make-up artist. And not trying to be. I am just like you- experimenting and sharing my experience.)
1. Apply make-up primer.
2. Apply foundation.
3. Cover any redness with concealer. 
4. Sort out your eyebrows.
5. Apply eye-shadow primer on your eyelids.
6. Apply some setting powder all over your face.
7. Choose any brown eye-shadow and apply it in your crease.
8. Choose any more orange colour eye-shadow and apply it on the side of your eyelid.
9. Take a small angled brush and apply concealer just like I did.
10. Apply sparkly glitter.
11. Apply some mascara.
12. Contour your face. 
13. Add some highlighter.
14. Apply nude lipstick.
15. You're done!

Mood booster cookies by Superfood bakery

Hi everyone,
I hope you had a lovely weekend. This time my blog post is food related! Finally!!! I didn't write about food for ages... and as you may know food is taking one of the biggest parts in my life... Haha. I just love love love good food but to be honest sadly I eat fast food most of the time because of my quite busy life. Anyway I always try to find balance and cook something healthy as much as I can. Recently I started exercising as well to keep myself fit. If you're one of those people who has a goal for 2017 to start healthy life, don't worry- I'm too. And I have a perfect recipe for a healthy and delicious snacks!
Recently Superfood bakery contacted me and asked if I would like to try some of their products. I was quite skeptical about all of these 100% organic snacks as most of them are just tasteless and I don't enjoy it at all, but I decided to give it a try. I've got Mood booster cookies powder. It's 100% natural and without any added refined sugar. And it's also gluten free!
Gluten-free oats, dessicated coconut, buckwheat flour, cornflour, gluten-free bicarbonate of soda, cinnamon, vanilla powder, raw coconut sugar and cacao power.
It's super easy to make and takes you maximum 5 minutes of even less. You're going to need only one egg, 40ml of vegetable (or sunflower) oil and 30g of honey (or agave nectar). And that's it! Just mix it all together, form the cookies into the desired shape and bake in preheated oven (170C) for 20mins. SO EASY. SO TASTY. SO HEALTHY.

Quality time before Christmas

Hi guys!
First of all, apologies for no posting for the past two weeks... Had a week off work and was crazy busy afterwards! Finally I'm back and would like to share few pictures from my holiday.
I had my friend coming over for a few days and we stayed in London just having fun. On Friday we visited one of my favourite places ever- Winter Wonderland. And I have to say- it was one of my favourite days this year. It's just so magical everywhere. Food and the mulled wine was just to die for. And I'm dying to come back here one more time this year.
And just because it wasn't enough food in Winter Wonderland we had some afternoon tea afterwards... Haha.
